Worst customer services in the world! Let Lazada go to hell!

Lazada Vietnam does not protect consumers' right. Their sellers sell cheap, unquality, poison, counterfeit products but Lazada customer services is rude. They hung up the call whenever they want without letting you finish what you were saying when you call in to request a refund after the false products were returned a few weeks ago. Don't buy anything on Lazada Vietnam as their customer services are the worst in the world and you can't escalate your issue because they do not let you do that. Their low-quality, rude associates act like a King and do not let you escalate. Too bad, too bad!!

Terrible service, Lazada Vienam "robs" and cheat clients

I order a Bobbi brown foundation from Lazada. When i got the item, there is no seal out the paper box. I took the jar out of the paper box, and realized that the shade was too bright, much brighter than the shade in the photos in Lazada website. Thus, I placed a return order, 2 days later Lazada staff came over my house to pick up the item. And a few days after that, I was informed in the app that my return request is rejected, and the item will be delivered back to my address. The reason is that item (the foundation) was used. I can not believe that a big company can make such a big and dirty lie. This is actually a rob. I have never ever opened the lid of the foundation jar, how can they say that the foundation was used. I call customer service, the girl who answer my call just said that Lazada just reject my order and that all. She just said the other team told her that the item was used, after I explained to her that I even have not open the lid, then she said taking the item out the box means that the item was used. That was so terrible and irrational, given that there's even no seal/stamp on the paper box. I will never used Lazada app again, and and wish that Lazada in Vietnam will soon be broke

Blackmail and coercion from sellers and customer service

Lazada takes the cake for being the worst online shopping experience of history. Especially regarding to quality control and product exchange.

I have recently purchased a Samsung phone from Official Samsung store listed on Lazada Mall. Within the first 3 to 5 days of use, the phone started to heat up very badly even during simple tasks like web surfing. The screen started to freeze and have a significant delay of 3-4 seconds for each interaction. I have the video proof of this malfunction.

I then contacted Samsung store and showed them the video, to which they immediately apologized and requested me to exchange or refund the faulty product. When the faulty product arrived back at Lazada, Lazada claimed that the product does not have any faults because their "technician" swiped left and right a few times and the screen responded (also have video proof of this).

Afterwards, 3 separate Lazada representatives contacted us, insistently demanded us to take back the faulty product. They only read 2-3 lines from a script repeatedly and refused to answer any questions regarding the exchange process, their office address, further ways of communication, etc.

They threatened us that if we do not accept back the faulty product, they would sell it cheaply to other parties, and we would lose the money paid via Visa card (again I have recorded audio).

Not to mentioned that I was also blackmailed by a Lazada seller to cancel the exchange process or they would come to the address I listed on Lazada and "deal" with me (I have the screenshot).

I must ask, what kind of corporate culture and customer service blackmail and coerce its customers?! I have never experienced this on any online shopping platform and it completely baffled me.

Lazada VietNam Makes You Wait Then Cancels Your Orders

Lazada is owned by a holding company owned by a Chinese on-line sales company.

The problem with Lazada is they keep on CANCELLING orders without justification.

I contacted some of the Vietnamese suppliers and was told that Lazada kills orders on their own volition EVEN WHEN THE SUPPLIER HAS STOCK.

Using LAZADA in VietNam is useful because thy accept Dong.

But they have done one good thing(!!!!!) by implementing Pick-Up Points with mini-stores that are open late. This means you don't have to wait for the delivery man.

AND YOU CAN STILL USE "PAY ON DELIVERY".

LAZADA Customers have complained about the FINANCIAL TRICKS they use - NO CASH REFUNDS - ONLY CREDITS.

SHOPPEE is worse in many respects. Maybe the VietNam On-Line market will mature and actually function ethically.

I try to support Vietnamese companies, but be very careful - NEVER USE A CREDIT CARD WITH THEM, ONLY CASH ON DELIVERY.

I ordered JBL headphones and received a…

I ordered JBL headphones and received a vastly inferior brand (Zidli worth about 20% of the value). I instantly complained and Lazada picked it up the same day. Time past and the return was rejected because of packaging, even though I sent it back EXACTLY as I recieved it. Lucky my wife had taken photos of the poor packaging and incorrect product and put it up on the sellers page (which is still active even though it has been proven they are fake). Lazada then contacted the seller and I was given a verbal confirmation that I would get my money back. That is when the feet dragging began. It took 3 weeks for the package to be picked up and a futher 4 weeks to arrive in HCMC ( 1.5hrs away ) . Since then an additional 4 weeks has past and I still have not gotten any information. I ring them regularly and they always promise that someone will cantact me in 48 hours / 5 days, sometimes it even happens. It feel like they are just hoping I will forget. I've now done some research and found that the Vietnamese governement investigated them a few years ago and gave them a kick in the backside for their shoddy business practices. I guess they need another few kicks.

EDIT: I finally got my money back, a full 15 weeks after ordering the product. Never again.

Lazada Vietnam account blocked due to security reasons without explanation

Lazada Vietnam account linked to my mobile number has been blocked, without notice neither explanations with below message. Customer Service send me and email after repeated reports from my side for unsuccessful order's placement and
three phone calls. The content of the email didn't explain realistically in any pojnt and consistently the reason for such an extreme measure from Lazada Vietnam neither bother to provide proofs of any of the listed points. When I called the customer service I haven't had any support from the operator that just kept re-addressing the content of the email with no further help or explanation.
Poor service, terrible assistance and unexpected bullying attitude for non-speaking Vietnamese customers. I have never experienced as a customer such a cheap and unhelpful service with any e-commerce before in my life.
Such an extreme measure doesn't leave any choice than engage woth legal assistance in order to set the records straight on the reasons why the account have been blocked and to restore the account and the possibility to purchase in the future.

A unprofessional app where your luck will get tested all along.. stay away

Lazada Vietnam is a copy of Amazon but quality and authenticity of product is a challenge.Complaints to customer care goes unheard and all they do is keep saying SORRY and some same robotic reply despite numerous follow up. Request for Manager call back with Mr Lien Viet( who is supposedly the manager here) does not happen for weeks despite numerous follow up amd written confirmations. Products are confirmed to be shipped over mail only to be cancelled later. No explanation given what so ever. There is no way you can escalate the matter and incase u lost your money using voucher or anything, then you are at God's mercy. "Shoppe" is a better alternative else place safe and don't challenge your luck is my advise

Regularly engaged in fraudulent deception of customers

1/3 of the things they sell are counterfeit copies from China... Other things you will typically get include broken products not covered by warranty, wrong size/ color products, and simply the wrong product. All of these things are sold willfully and knowingly by Lazada Vietnam. If you buy from these people you take your risks! Beware!
